The Draft Commander Fire Pump Engineer & Firefighter Training Receiver
Ask us about our New Draft Commander Training Receiver for Firefighters and Fire Pump Engineers. This new unit is designed to perform like actual firefighting from draft or fire apparatus hooked up to the Draft Commander fire pump/fire hydrant, training with hydrant residual pressure. Firefighters discharge from behind into the receiver recycling water over and over, saving millions of gallons of water.
Exercises for firefighters and fire pump engineers
Perform hands-on training exercises to properly educate your department on water flow & pump operation, all while recirculating water back into the fire pump saving millions of gallons of water. The kit includes all the required equipment such as training nozzles, gauges, adapters, and fire hose.
Prevent failure of fire hose during emergencies
Testing fire hose per NFPA 1962 ensures the safety of personnel operating equipment, providing a reasonable assurance that the hose will perform as designed. Fire hose is susceptible to damage from dragging, normal usage, and environmental conditions during emergency operations.
Check the accuracy of Draft Commander & Apparatus gauges
The Draft Commander® Gauge Testing Kit can be configured to check the gauges on your Draft Commander Master Monitor, as well as the pressure and vacuum gauges on the apparatus pump panel for accuracy without the need to remove gauges from their panel.
Used for testing low GPM/ high-pressure pumps
First developed for the U.S. Department of Defense, the Draft Commander® P-34 Test Kit offers pump testing solutions for specialty fire apparatus, such as the P-34 Rapid Intervention Vehicle, which pumps low gallonage at very high pressures.
Are your nozzles reaching their rated GPM and PSI? This Draft Commander® attachment tests your fire nozzles per NFPA 1962, and is unlike anything else developed in the fire industry. Also available in a stand-alone hitch receiver mount version (not pictured).
